A letter from our CEO regarding COVID-19 preparedness & response

March 23, 2020

Dear Valued Partner:

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of The Department of Homeland Security has published guidelines outlining “Essential Critical Infrastructure Workers” in the United States during the COVID-19 outbreak. The guidelines specifically identify and deem essential the following operations and workforce members:

  • Client service centers, field engineers, and other technicians supporting critical (Information Technology) infrastructure, as well as manufacturers and supply chain vendors that provide hardware and software, and information technology equipment (to include microelectronics and semiconductors) for critical infrastructure

Lexicon supports elements of the technology infrastructure for many users who operate in other essential, critical sectors of our economy including agriculture, food service, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare, education, and others. Thus, we want to reassure our partners that our Atlanta-area RepairFactory facility will continue to operate to support your enterprise mobility repair and maintenance needs.

Additionally, we continue to improve processes and workflows to ensure the health and safety of our employees. Changes we’ve implemented in the last few weeks include:

  • Enhanced social distancing: all production and warehouse personnel that handle customer equipment have been assigned work stations at least 6 ft. apart.
  • All personnel able to telecommute have been reassigned to work from home.
  • The exterior of all customer equipment is being disinfected with a cloth dampened with 70% alcohol.
  • We are promoting frequent and thorough hand washing.
  • Instructing all workers to stay at home if they are sick.
  • Encouraging respiratory etiquette, including coughs and sneezes per CDC guidelines.
  • Maintaining enhanced housekeeping practices, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment and other elements of the work environment.

We continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and remain prepared to adapt our operations accordingly. Our sales and customer support team are available to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Please don’t hesitate to contact me at tcollins@lexicontech.com if there’s anything I can do to help directly.

Thank you for your continued partnership.
