An Elevator Pitch for Equipment Repaired by Lexicon Tech Solutions
“If it has a main logic board, we can fix it.”
Coming up with that elevator pitch for a company (or a person) is never easy. Somehow managing to fit all that you do into a neatly tied 15-second summary leaves the best of us tongue-tied, stuttering vague platitudes like “best-in-class” and “great ROI.”
Just for fun, we polled our employees and asked them to give us their best elevator pitch for Lexicon. A few samples of what came back are below:
“Large-scale technology repairs for everyone from Amazon to mom and pop stores.”
“Auto ID-repairs for warehouses, manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and education companies.”
“We do repair, maintenance, and refurb for companies that helps extend the life of their equipment.”
“Lexicon is home of the LE45 Android barcode scanner and is known for industry-leading repair turn times and helping companies keeping IT working longer.”
And our favorite:
“If it has a main logic board, we can fix it.”
All of the above are pretty spot on, so kudos to the team! One thing stands out though. When we tell people we fix equipment — even getting specific and saying we most often fix mobile computers, printers, and scanners, we still get the “So wait, what exactly do you all repair?” question.
Lexicon’s Most Commonly Repaired Equipment
So again, just for kicks, we pulled a list of our most commonly repaired equipment and demanded all employees memorize it and be able to spout it out on demand or be fired. (Kidding. But pretending to rule by fear is fun.) Here then, in order of most often to least often repaired, is a list of items our team saw over the past 12 months.

What does all this mean? Going back to our elevator pitch, if it has a main logic board, Lexicon can repair it. Our techs are A+ certified and specifically trained on every device they repair. They go through almost 200 hours of training and rigorous QA. We offer anywhere from a 1-10 day turn time, depending on maintenance contract, and bulk order parts so that repairs are never delayed due to parts being unavailable. We also do a full device performance test before returning to you. You may send us a piece of equipment because the screen is broken, but we check every nook and cranny to make sure the equipment is fully operational and won’t need to be sent in next month for a repair for a different reason.
So yes, we are best-in-class and we do offer great ROI for the companies that use us. But above that, we’re just really, really, REALLY good at fixing things.
Do you have equipment in your office or warehouse that needs the occasional fix or a full-on overhaul/update? Make our techs day — contact us for a quote and let us show you why companies that choose Lexicon for repairs, stay with us for the long haul.
